About Rosa
Hello! My name is Rosa, and I am an incoming student at Harvard University. I graduated high school in the top 1% of my class, participating extensively on my school’s nationally-ranked math and debate teams. I have been also recognized as a US Presidential Scholar Semifinalist and National Merit Scholar for my academic and extracurricular achievements. Ever since I was a kid, I have always loved expressing myself through the arts, especially through different mediums. It is one of my favorite hobbies, and I have always enjoyed teaching art in the past while volunteering with kids. I also wrote one of my Harvard supplemental essays about my commissioned art. I am beyond excited to share my passion with you and hope you also derive joy from this experience!
Clay Classes
There will be two time slots, one for the youngest learners aged 6–10 and one for teenagers aged 12–16.
Each package includes a complimentary online introductory meeting with parents and students to understand the student’s interests and to create personalized lesson plans that will fully challenge and excite the student(s). Students do not need to have any prior experience.
Classes can be held either online or in person in Broward County, Florida (in the Weston/Davie area). For in-person sessions, materials, including clay, paints, and brushes, will be provided for the students. At the conclusion of the program, students will have several clay pieces that they may bring home.
Students will not work with sharp objects or heat; the clay used will be air-dried.
Waiver
The teacher does not make any guarantee of any future results, rewards, success, or achievements as part of the package.
While the teacher will provide comprehensive instruction, practice, and support, the ultimate outcome of the sessions will be influenced by the student’s individual effort and engagement in the learning process. The tutoring package is designed to provide students with the necessary tools, resources, and guidance to improve their skills and knowledge in the targeted areas. However, the success of the sessions relies on the student’s active participation, practice, and willingness to learn.
Despite there is not being dangerous materials used, any possible injuries are not liable to the teacher.
