Class Details

This course is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to excel in competitive speaking events while fostering their leadership abilities. Students will be introduced to various competitive platforms and will develop the necessary skills to succeed in these competitions. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical exercises, and real-world application, students will gain confidence in public speaking, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and effective communication.

This course enables students to:

• Develop Effective Communication Skills: Students will learn techniques to deliver compelling speeches, engage their audience, and communicate their ideas effectively.
• Master Competitive Event Preparation: Students will gain an understanding of the specific requirements and expectations of each competitive event. They will learn how to research, prepare, and present projects effectively within the given guidelines and time constraints.
• Enhance Leadership Abilities: Students will explore leadership concepts and theories, and develop skills such as goal setting, decision making, conflict resolution, and team management.
• Strengthen Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills: Students will engage in activities and exercises that enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Foster Entrepreneurial Thinking: Students will explore the principles of entrepreneurship and apply them to their competitive projects.
• Cultivate Professionalism and Ethical Behavior: Students will develop an understanding of professional etiquette, ethics, and integrity in the context of competitive events. They will learn to conduct themselves professionally, adhere to competition rules and regulations, and exhibit sportsmanship.
