FAQs

Proud parent of an MIT student, the founder of UKE Tutoring understands how impactful the right academic support can be at the right time. UKE was built to help high school students navigate demanding coursework and college preparation through personalized online tutoring that builds confidence, consistency, and independence.

UKE tutors are hand-selected independent educators from Ivy League and top U.S. universities, including current students and graduates. Beyond academic credentials, tutors are chosen for their ability to mentor, motivate, and build confidence while delivering structured, high-quality instruction tailored to each student’s needs.

UKE tutoring is conducted online, offering flexible scheduling—including evenings and weekends—while providing access to top tutors regardless of location and consistent tracking of student progress.

Sessions are scheduled directly between the tutor and the student or parent, in accordance with UKE guidelines. All session dates must fall within the timeframe of the purchased class package.

Please kindly refer to our the bottom of our homepage under Payment Options and Terms & Conditions.

We just amended our Cancellation Policy to offer more flexibility. We now provide a Partial Cancellation option, allowing customers to obtain a reimbursement for unused sessions if they are unsatisfied after the first two sessions of a purchased Package Offer (refer to our Cancelation Policy under Terms & Conditions for details).

If a student is unable to attend a scheduled session, limited rescheduling may be permitted in accordance with UKE policies. One same-day no-show with communication and one advance rescheduling request may be allowed as a courtesy, subject to tutor availability and completion within the package timeframe. Tutor-initiated rescheduling does not count against the family. Please refer to the Customer Agreement for full details.
